cbm, formerly Christian Blind Mission, is the world’s largest development organization working specially with the world’s most vulnerable people - those suffering the double disadvantage of poverty and disability.
Poverty and disability are inextricably linked. If you have an already poor family who has a disabled family member, they will inevitably be the poorest family in their village. They are the poorest of the poor. They can’t afford medical care or education or clean water.
CBM needed a compelling web site that tells their story and motivates users to take action and support their work. They needed a website that was easy to manage an an online fundraising solution that was as flexible and responsive as their organization. The needed a system that would support their ongoing campaigns but also allow them to conceive and launch a fundraising campaign in hours or days, not weeks. That system was CommerceCM.
